A Study the Effect of Some Electrical Prosperities on Synthetic Rubber Reinforced with Carbon Black

چکیده

In this work we study the effect of some electrical prosperities on synthetic rubber reinforced with carbon black diluted in heptanes with concentrations from 0.2% gm/mole to 2.0% gm/ mole in temperatures range (100, 150, 200, 250, 300) C associated with amount weight of black carbon 5wt% added to the diluted rubber. The results of electrical properties measurement of Buna rubber reinforced with black carbon show that the electrical conductivity is increased with increasing of concentration and both of molar conductivity and degree of dissociation are decreased with increasing of concentration, the results of effecting of temperatures on electrical properties show for Buna rubber increased with increasing of concentration and these results suggest there is association between rubber and solvent molecules and also there is association between rubber molecules it self . ^ . ا 78 8ا

Influence of Different Fillers on Natural Rubber Composites to Assess Mechanical Performance

Effect of different fillers on natural rubber compounds was investigated through curing, mechanical properties and morphology studies for improving mechanical performance of rubber articles. In this work, natural rubber blends with Silica as Single-filler compounds, and blends with Silica and Carbon black as Bi-filler compounds were considered. Then, natural rubber blends with Silica, Carbon bl...

Effect of carbon black and fly ash co-fillers content on mechanical and thermal behaviors of styrene butadiene rubber compounds

Fly ash (FA) is produced as a waste byproduct during the burning process of coal in thermal power plants whose cost is primarily associated to cleaning and transportation. It possesses mechanical properties on account of its constituents like silica and alumina. The use of FA as filler in styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) was of researchers’ interest to reinforce and/or to reduce product cost. In ...

CATHODIC PROTECTION OF STEEL REINFORCED CONCRETE BY CONDUCTIVE EPOXY PAINTS IN MARINE ENVIRONMENTS

Anodes are critical component of cathodic protection systems. As part of this effort, three different anodes were tested in a cathodic protection system that was designed and constructed to prevent further corrosion of reinforced concrete. This anodic system includes an electrically conductive coating composition applied in fluid form over an outer surface of the concrete mix. The composition f...

The Payne Effect for Particle-Reinforced Elastomers

The study deals with the Payne effect (a substantial decrease in the storage modulus of a particle-reinforced elastomer with an increase in the amplitude of mechanical oscillations). The influence of temperature, concentration of filler and amplitude and frequency of strains is analyzed on the mechanical response of filled rubbery polymers. Constitutive equations are derived using the concept o...
